- Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place your Silpat Perfect Brownie Mold on a baking tray, such as the Silpat Cook N Cool Tray, for extra support.
Make the Brownie Batter
- In a bowl, whisk together the melted butter and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring just until combined. Be careful not to overmix the batter to ensure a fudgy texture.
Prepare the Pumpkin Swirl
- In another bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, brown sugar, egg yolk, vanilla extract, and pumpkin pie spice until smooth and creamy
Assemble the Brownies
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the Silpat Perfect Brownie Mold, spreading it evenly to fill the compartments.
- Spoon dollops of the pumpkin mixture over the brownie batter, followed by the remaining brownie batter on top.
- Use a toothpick or knife to gently swirl the brownie and pumpkin mixtures together, creating a beautiful marbled effect.
Bake
- Place the brownies in the oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Cool and Serve
- Allow the brownies to cool completely in the Silpat mold before removing them. Once cool, cut the brownies into squares and enjoy!
